I have been taking vicodin for 6 months for back pain. I take only 2 a day, unless I am REALLY hurting. I ran out a few days ago, and the last 2 days I have been very cranky, stressed and exhuasted. Could I be getting addicted to the vicodin? are these withdrawal symptoms? My medicine gets refilled tomarrow and I have have a dr.s apt. at the end of the month. I don't want to get addicted to it, but I still need it at least until I finish physical therapy, then hopefully I won't need it anymore.

you are withdrawing .. that long with a constant amount .. you are .. get off as soon as possible, although you may want to have your doc ween you off, or it will get worse
