so, my mom has been acting weird lately with her purse and one day i came into her room and she looked like she was hiding somethng behind her purse and and kept moving it around so i couldnt see. so i thought something was weird. so then i go into her room again last night and she does the same thing and then she puts something in this box under her bed and she is bein all sneaky. so this morning while she was in the shower i went to look in her purse and she has a little box and inside was a cut straw and an envelope with white crushed powder. then i looked in the box under the bed and there was a bag and inside there was some vicodin and some more little envelopes, she has done cocaine before and went to rehab for it and alcohol. what do i do? confront her? do i tell my dad? im scared and worried. will it end their marriage if i tell my dad?.. please help!

She definetely needs some help, maybe you should try to talk to her first, if that doesn't work, maybe go to your dad and talk to him about putting her in a rehab so that you and him can help her together.

if your dad really loves her he will want to help her not divorce her...if i were u i would tell your dad or get advice from a responsible adult...i wouldn't confrot her tho.

Depending on how old you are, I would be concerned about you being the one to confront her. You MUST tell another adult. Your father would be a good start. You can't be concerned about what might happen if you tell. The fact of the matter is that no matter what, your mother needs help and now that you know what you know, you need to be sure that she gets it.

Talking to your Mom about it may make her mad. Your Dad might be mad, too. They might think that you are meddling. It is risky. It is not wrong to talk to them but first ask yourself if you can handle anything that happens. For myself, in your position I would first try to talk to my school counselor about it. You are definitely in danger here. I don't know if your school counselor is trained to help in this situation but still I can't think of a better place to start. You may get a referral to Family Services Agency or something like that. Do be careful. You might want to talk to a family friend, aunt or uncle or minister if you are close to anyone like that. And tell your best friend."In the multitude of counselors there is safety."That is in the Bible. When you are in danger, the more people around you who are aware, the better.

you should hide the drugs in your room and replace the stuf with sugar so she wont notice then call the cops
