my dr's cousin gave him norco( has hydrocodone in it) was also given ultram and a morphine patch which his dr gave it to him can any one explain to me if any thing could happen to him doing all at the same time the morphine patch is a 72 hour time release. oh and also takes ambien at night.

I am 100% positive that he is not supposed to take all at once.The morphine patch is long term release - so he puts it on for three days. He using the ultram and norco for breakthrough pain - not at the same time.There is a risk that if he takes all of them at once, including the ambien, that it depresses his respiratory system and dies. Heath Leger had narcotics and ambien in his system when he died.I would tell your friend to be really careful with this mix and if he can to get off the ambien.
