Default Help with breaking porn addiction? - 01-17-2010, 01:09 PM

I stopped for a while, but started up again recently. What can I do to stop for good?

You have to want to stop. You have to just ignore the need to watch it! It's not very good at all. Just think of why you should stop and how bad it is. You'll get motivated enough to stop. & If you're about too just stop and think! It's not very hard. You just gotta believe!

I'm not going to say my age because I don't want you to think I'm to young, but I am a teenager and I watch the same thing. I try to avoid it and I don't watch it often because sometimes it gives me a stomach ache :/ I watch it when I'm in the mood to. For now ignore it as much as you can. If you want to watch it, walk away from you're computer, do an activity or if you have to get a little snack just to get your mind off of it.

The Bible is the answer to your question. About a year ago, I used to be just like you. Then I started reading the word of God. My life has been transformed into something better. I hope you put the word of God in consideration. God bless

I agree with the block guy. Porn is on the Internet. Lots of it. I suggest get a parental block on your computer and tell your friends to help you. Put a password only your friend would know. Give away your porn to your friends.

It will depend on what your source of porn is and block it.

You have taken the first step to stopping by realizing that you have a problem or maybe a addiction to porn. There are therapists that help with this exact thing. Look in your community there are lots of cities or communities that offer groups for helping, kind of like a AA group. Good luck.
