I've taken percodan's for over a year, my Dr run a UA on my and the meds did not show up! Can someone try to tell me what happened?

because if ur doctor prescribed them and gave u the ua then he probably didnt check for opiates since they would be in ur system

working in a hospital before, i would say, either the lab paperwork was wrong or if the State was giving it, Who knows! They don't do anything right

They usually only test for cocaine,meth and marijuana, however urine tests are fuul proof i have passed one before and should have failed it. Really it should be a violation of civil rights because they are not full proof.

Probably because they did a urinalysis, not a urine drug screen. It's funny how the answer you get is so dependent on the question you ask.

A routine urinalysis does not check for drugs.

Depending on how you take them? PRN or as needed may mean you only take them randomly. Does that mean you skip a day or more at a time? The metabolites are measured up to a certain parameter, hence, a negative is not a negative it simply means that you have not reached the drugs starting point for testing. So what the test is really saying is that you are not abusing them and your metabolites have fallen below the starting point for the test. Another possibility is that they are doing randoms and not testing for every drug each time, or if you declared that you are taking them they may have opted not to test you for it.
