depends on what you mean by"noticeable effects". Different people react differently to narcotics. Some get pain relief for four to six hours, some for twenty four, some get sleepy, some get hyper, it really depends on your own metabolism and how you individually deal with the drug. There is no hard or fast rule about how long any effects may last.
