I suffer from chronic pain. This all started from a MVA on 11/3/07.. before the accident I was in no pain, just the normal back pain that we all have from time to time ( i was a waitress for 13yrs.) Once I was hit from behind, which was not that hard, I was in instant pain in my lower bk. and since then I have has immense pain. My MRI showed a bulging disc, nothing too severe, and pain in my right buttock radiating down my rt. leg, however, then about mid Feb. the pain started to move to my shoulders and the burning started too. I am now in chronic pain from head to toe and the pain is unbareable! This has taken over my life, and I cannot do anything without severe pain. However, my EMG came back neg. and my X-Rays have shown slight scoliosis and arthritis in lwr. back. My dr. refused to continue me on pain killers(percocet) and cut me off cold turkey after 6 months on them. I understand the concern for addiction, however, there are the people that don't abuse themmy PCP has basically told me there is nothing further he can do.. I have appointments with a Rhumatologist and a Pain Mgmt. center bt not for another 2 wks. ... Anyone know what to look for or any GREAT dr's in Mass??? If I didn't have my daughter, I would consider dying rather than live w/ the pain.. I am willing to try Natural methods, however, I am basically OD'ing myself on Ibuprofen and Naproxen.. I was given Neurontin for nerve pain, at 9 per day, but does not seem to help.. If you have a stupid answer, then please do not reply, but if you have the same symptoms or a valid reply, I would greatly appreciate it....Thanks for looking...Just wanted to add that I am 28 and cannot believe that at this age, I have the issues of someone who has abused their body all their lives... I feel like I'm in the body of a 70yr. old
