Default Vicodin, Percocet? - 12-31-2008, 01:11 AM

to start off if you're going to say drugs r bad don't bother, please. I am 16 and some girl at school gives me some vicodin or percocet once a week. I like to do it once over the weekend and its not every weekend because sometime i give it to my friends. I find it relaxing especially during school, just takes some of the pressure off me. I don't think i have had cravings, but sometimes i think it be nice but i don't get a crazy about getting it. Its nothing more then norco vicodin at the most so none of oxycontin or crap, i wont do that. Could i just get some facts about what im doing, how bad it is for me... how do you know if you are addicted? just facts. thanks

If you do it every once in awhile you arent addicted!! I am going to say it's okay.. besides the fact it is against the law.Painkillers are nice.. they do make you feel good.. and not to messed up at the same time.

Well, you're addicted when you feel like you NEED it. But I wouldn't say that you are because you give them away sometimes and use it twice a week at most. It's okay to enjoy a good buzz every now and then, but keep in mind that the more you use, the more you'll need to get the same buzz.

ill tell you this.. im a recovering addict, i had the same exact mind-frame as you.. im not addicted, just to chill, ect ect.stop right now, while you are ahead. hydrocodone is basically the same exact feeling as heroin. it becomes very addicting and dependant.after a year of abusing hydrocodone i moved up to morphine, then heroin. (its very easy to move up to the bad stuff, trust me.)youll be shooting heroin in a few years if you dont stop it

Both of these drugs can be very addictive. We all seek relief from the pressures in our lives in many different ways. You are risking a lot by trying to relieve your stress this way. Drugs like this can make you laid back and may seem to help you at first, but as you need them more and more you will find that they have added to your stresses and that while you were busy trying to get your drug to relax your problems that were causing your stress have only gotten worse because you did not deal with them. Please do not let this behaviour become the way you handle pressure and stress. It will ruin your future. Instead hold your head high and take the challenges life puts in front of you head on!!! Once you have conquered an obstacle or problem you will feel a great sense of satisfaction, pride, self respect and accomplishment. No drug can give you these things - in fact drugs take away these things!! And as an adult I have to caution you that what you are doing is illegal and if you get caught that right therecould alter the path of your future from one of promise to one of despair!
