I just turned 16 years old and i have a big problem. I am addicted to drugs. I drink every night, smoke weed every day and sniff cocaine. Sometimes i take extacy and opium.Im a complete train wreck and my life hasnt even started yet! I basically flipped my world upside cuz ever since all of this everything has went down hill., my confidence my friendships and relationships and school. I've from a family who is very hextic and my mom is never home becuase she works to support my family. i dont have much parental guidence but i learn to care for myself but i also party to much. I am about on my own with the whole drug use thing. My best friend recently stoped talking to me becase she is fed up with me always being out of control and messed up on drugs and alcohol. I have very low self esteem and am not happy with myself or chioces i make. I cant just stop haning out with my friends who do drugs cuz its not as easy to do then said. I need soem advise on how to do this all myself. Get clean from drugs. feel better about myself and to actully stick with it. I have talked to my mom about some of the things not to detailed but there is nothign she can do. Please help with A LOT OF advise becuase i am on my own.thank you...

Go see a doctor and tell him exactly what you said right there.. they'll know the proper ways to help you with the drug and self-esteem issues. Good luck..

Since you are web savvyy I would suggest you get on the web and look up AA Alcohol Anonymous and they can direct you to a group that can give you assistance. I am perplexed how you can afford to do all these drugs and not work?

Oh wow, what a story. There is definitely a drug treatment center literally in every area of the country. One of the best places to go is the Mental Health facility in your area. Actually, I would make a phone call to them and tell them that you are very young and need help in stopping drug use. They will give you the name of a program to help you. There is also Narcotics Anonymous and I would email them and find someone in your area. Sounds like you are definitely ready to do this and just need a little outside encouragement. You are a very, very wise kid. Who know a 16 year old could be this smart when it came to stopping drugs? Wow, I really do admire you. I was an idiot when I was 16. Sounds like you know that you have your whole life ahead of you and you want to live it sober.
