I have to do a school report on opium. I was wondering if anyone could give me information on who uses and abuses opium, who i affected by the drug (family, friends, society??) and if using opium leads to using other drugs.please include references.thanks

People learn behavior from their parents. The people who are most likely to abuse drugs are those that have parents that self-medicate for their own mental health issues by using drugs and/or alcohol.
