Hmmm...interesting....so it wasn't a will? Wills are not legally binding documents and can usually be challenged.Now, this matter is a difficult legal one. Legal or not is not the issue, you have to understand how the law works.You can challenge it, and they may find in your favour, after a long time and after a lot of money. Perhaps she signed it on morphine, but perhaps there are witnesses hearing her say that she would do this before hand. If it was always her intention, then the morphine doesn't matter.You can ask the daughter to do the decent thing or...you can negotiate a win/win.My suggestion is to work with the daughter to sell the condo. Tell her to talk to a lawyer and see how much her defence will cost...in that case, she can keep part of the money and give the rest to the grandfather.I think everyone wins in this matter. Fighting over it, no one wins.
