I particulary need help with the detox if anyone knows something that may help. I'm trying to wean but anyone who is an addict knows how that goes. I really want to quit and I know the 12 step program, been thru rehab. I need more specific help with the detox part. Thanks

Call the local police. they may know a good place you can go to get detoxed. Yes, I know you think they are the bad guys, but really, they want you straight as much, or more than, you do.

well try not to substitute it with food or smoking cigarettes. that will be very bad!!! um definitly have a buddy system so you can do it with someone and you can count on eachother! that would definitely help. it helped me. but it depends on the level of addiction as well.

I am posting this for the hundreds of people who either suffer from stimulant drug addiction( mainly meth) themselves or know someone suffering from a stimulant addiction.
As a personal victim of this ravenous disease I know how truly difficult this can be. The mood swings the outbursts of vicious attacks thru violence, words, and health, the loss of sleep, social life, friends,family, future.
