I would like to kick the meth use habit but I dont want to go to rehab cause I have doctor appointments and I work at the soup kitcen once a week. Please help with suggestions

Uhm. You don't. Methamphetamines are physically addictive. Your body gets to a point that it believes it NEEDs it to keep going. When you quit, there are going to be withdrawals. There's no way to avoid them. But once you're off of it, if you stay off of it, you never have to worry about it again. Plus, if you quit, you get to keep your teeth, your health, your friendships, and your life! And you'll have money! Booooonuuuuuus!

That's a question for a doctor. There may be some outpatient treatment, but it's not a good idea to try all on your own at home. You can either take the time and do what it takes, or halfway try and it not work. Getting clean is more important don't you think?

There is no way to get off that crap without help. I have never done it but have a few friends who have ended up commiting sucide while trying to quit. Please get help from a doctor!!Good luck and god bless you!

No matter what you do you WILL have withdrawals. Make sure you have a strong support system of friends that will be able to take your abuse and keep you away from meth at the same time. Withdrawals from anything are hard to get through but you can do it.

I am posting this for the hundreds of people who either suffer from stimulant drug addiction( mainly meth) themselves or know someone suffering from a stimulant addiction.
