My son has chronic depression, is under the care of a MD, has simultaneously been taking wellbutrin and using marijuana. Is there a problem here?

marijuana FIRST if all is illegal plain and simple unless he is allowed to use it for medical reasons which I doubt. Wellbutrin is an antidepressant which works on the neuro transmitters in the brain. Marijuana is a depressant which also works on the central nervous system. So my opinion would be that they are cancelling each other out so in essense : Why is he bothering to take the wellbutrin if thats what he is going to do? remember you can get DUI which is driving under the influence) which pertains to marijuana.
