Why do I become paranoid after smoking marijuana? Can someone help me out with this? -

Ive been smoking on and off for about a couple of years, and on 5 consecutive occasions, ive freaked out completly. My words, phrases and thoughts became absolutely distorted. I couldnt control what I was doing. I found it hard to concentrate on one thing seeing as there were thousands of thoughts going through my head at point, and I felt coerced to find out what they all meant, leading me to talk and act erratically. And almost all the time, Ive develop an increased heart rate as well. Is there some sort of medical definition or classification to this obscure reaction that I develop when smoking marijuana?
I don't know if there is an accepted medical definition, but what you described is not uncommon. It seems to have something to do with age. In general, folks over, say, 30 seem to be more susceptible than, say, 20 year olds.I have nothing really to base that on except other people telling me that that is the reason they do not like marijuana. My own experience was that I never experienced anything like it through my 20's (heavy smoker then) but more and more after 30.
Sounds like you have out grown it, you are having the opposite reaction of why we smoke pot in the first place. Sounds like you don't enjoy it anymore, give it up and welcome to adult world.
I used to work with loads of people who did stuff like that. The drug destroys brain cells. If you are worried about the paranoia, you should be more worried about the effects on your brain. Seriously, I hope you give it up, for your own sake. Good luck.
