I think my father is addicted to or becoming addicted to marijuana. Lately when he comes home he appears to be disoriented and possibly blacked out, hardly does he remember talking to me the night before. I can smell marijuana on him when he comes home, but I don't know if he is actually smoking it. I know what it smells like because my brother had become addicted to marijuana a couple years ago when we lived in a bad neighborhood and died because of marijuana. I don't know how to talk to my dad or what to say I don't want to have to bury my father two years my brothers tragic accident.

padillac, this is hard situation for you and it must be hard not to know how to help him. you might try calling addiction expert at 877-516-7098 that can also recommend rehab treatment... i hope you and your father will do fine...
