It is often hard to tell with illegal drugs, what is fact and what is government hype. I know a lot of drugs, like weed and LSD are no where near as bad as what some people would like us to believe. Also shrooms, ecstasy, and even cocaine aren't as bad as some people believe. However, i do wonder about meth.First off, in case you are wondering, no, i have absolutely no desire to try it. That is not why i am asking this question.I am a psychology student and one part of one of my courses is learning about drug addiction. The part about meth, including before and after pictures of people who were addicts, makes it look really bad. However, since i don't know anyone who has tried it (even my friends who are into other drugs have never even thought about trying it) and all i have to go on is what the anti-drug people say, it makes me wonder; is meth as bad as people say or could someone use it on a regular basis and be just fine?

i believe it is just as bad,its highly addictive.and takes over your life,meth becomes your one and only prioritywhile everything important becomes just an option.

It is very bad, you can get addicted by using it just once. Children who have meth users parents and are removed from the home, cannot take anything with them. Everything is destroyed because it is so toxic. We have seen homes in our area torn down, after a Meth bust.You can not use it on a regular basis and be fine. Allot of county jails are full of meth users. Maybe you could interview some, and hear their personal stories.

iv been addicted to meth for 5 yrs and heroin 10 yrs and yes meth is bad it gets in ya bones and is much worse to dettox off than gear these days not to mention how it rots ya body it can help if used rite for 3 to 6 months any longer ur abusin it and it will abuse u trust me i would not advise my worse enemy to try cos once addicted the pain in dettox is to much for many to handle so never stop usin other than if replaced by real heroin

no meth i think is the worst drug, ive seen people throw away their lives for it (my mom), neighbors acrosss the street have no teeth and are up all hours of the night, i never want to try i do ocasional ecstasy occasional coke and smoke weed every day, and i dont have anything wrong with me, i know the real facts about ecstasy and it is an overexageration what people say, way over exagerated, but meth is another story, ecstasy isnt physcally addictive meth is a different story, ive seen the same thing about faces of meth the before and after pictures, ive seen people disapear for a year and come back with no teeth, lost 20 pounds and looks like theve been wearing the same shirt for a month. its actually pretty disgusting, but on the good side, they make up funny raps and talk funny, sometimes even backwords, but what i hate is when they come knocking at ur window at 2 in the morning for a cigarette they can get anywhere
