how do ppl know how much medication it will take to kill them when they try to overdose.....if i took a combination of drugs such as prednisone maybe 50-20mg pills...sleeping pills and some oxy and loratab would it kill me or just knock me out for a couple hours..?

People don't know. They guess. And mostly they don't die. They usually end up with damaged livers or kidneys, and feeling really embarrassed.If you think you're taking this stuff for kicks, grow the f*** up and get a real life. The whole world is going on around you and you're missing it. What a waste.If you're thinking of suicide, call the local hospital and have them put you up for the next 72 hours on a psyche hold. You can admit yourself by stating that you intend to harm yourself. Get help and then get on with your life.The keyword there is LIFE!!!

People tend to take whatever's at hand, and they're universally stupid about it. For instance, you can eat all the prednisone you want and it won't knock you out, though it may cause a stomach ulcer.Likewise, people who overdose on narcotics will generally take enough to cause some respiratory depression, but often as not they only manage to kill off some brain cells without doing themselves in.
