I know it is for fibro pain but is it like a loratab because my husband had it in the car and he had a loratab addiction before so should I be worried?

yes, I am afraid so. This drug resembles loratab.Talk to him, and find out why he needs it.Who is it prescribed to? If it isn't him, he could get in trouble with the police. Make sure you tell him you know about it. While it is difficult to beat this kind of addiction, it is more psychological than physical, so..with help, he can get off of them.If he needs pain medications, please talk to the doctor with him. It helps.

It is the generic for Darvocet. Less addictive potential than Lortab.

Generic Darvocet. It's just acetaminophen 650mg and propoxyphene 100mg. As long as he takes just enough and isn't on it for too long, he shouldn't have a problem. It can be habit-forming however, so talk to a doctor if you think it might be trouble for him. It's not one of the stronger painkillers, and is prescribed frequently for short-term pain relief. I don't think it is that addictive, but there are lots of other options. For long-term pain and some that are non-habit forming.
