My doctor prescribed Lexapro 10 mg a day and then he issued a prescription of Klonopin 1mg. I would simply like to know if it is safe to take these drugs together or if they will interfere with each other. Thanks for your assistance.Jeffrey

If they are prescribed by the same Doc then I would say yes. He knows what he is doing and is familiar with your situation and with you. It will be fine.My husband is prescribed to the same two medications and at higher dosages. He is fine - sleeps a lot - but fine.Just don't mix your Klonopin with anything else (alcohol, pain meds, etc). While most people who are on Klonopin do take it with an antidepressants, it CAN be unsafe to mix with other substances.
