What are the risks associated with mixing a small amount of Klonopin with Alcohol? -

I take 1/2 of a .5 mg Klonopin tablet in the morning to calm me down. At night, when I want to relax, I like to drink 1-2 beers. Is this behavior dangerous? Does anyone know how long the Klonopin is staying in my system?
I'm not sure what the 1/2 life of klonies are, but I know that they and alcohol are both CNS depressants. I don't know if 1-2 beers are dangerous, however it could become a problem later on. My best advise is to not drink at all if you are on this med or any other benzo for that matter. Ask your pharmacist to know for sure.
