If a unborn child of a mother who used during the first 12 weeks of her pregnancy is found at risk by the OBGYN. What might they find wrond with the baby? The mother was an occasional IV drug user, who used heroin, ketamine, and extacy before she knew she was pregnant. What other harms might be at risk for this child? Please someone help! What are all the possible risks for this poor little baby!My mother smoked pot with me. And, pne of my other friends dropped acid twice and smoked pot everyday while pregnant with her now perfectly healthy son.

i don't mean to scare you, but often when mother smoke cigarettes babies come not deformed...but.... with some kind of defect... i assume, it will be worse if the mother uses drugs

the baby might be ok if the mother stopped in early pregnancy but if she was more then 3 months along i would consult a doctor to do a baby wellness test they have that and other test for before the baby is born.
