Hello, I've recently been taking hydrocodone to ease elbow pain. they are hyrodocone 7.5. I took 2 of them before going to sleep and woke up with a horrible pain in my lower left abdomen from the front to back. Ive gone to the doctor about it and they said that it could be a urinary infection. i was told that i shouldn't feel any pain after 2 days of taking the medication. the problem is that ive been on it for 5 days now and i'm still having the same pain. Can anyone relate or have an idea if it could have been the hydrocodone that's done this?i was given ciproflaxin to deal with the possible urinary infectioni also havent been taking any more hydrocodone since i started getting abdominal pain

sounds like you are taking too much, or you have an unrelated problem. cut your dosage in half and see if it helps. be careful about how much acetomenophin you take in 24 hours, 2 of the 7.5 contain 1.5 grams, anything over 2 grams a day and you risk poisoning, lots of people OD on acetomenophin ( tylenol) every year by accident.
