I am 36 years old and have suffered fro the last ten years or so.I get headaches that escalate so bad that i violently throw up and my head feels like it's gonna burst.My bp and pulse go up sky high.When they are severe like this i have to go to the ER where i am treated like a junkie,sometimes they dont treat me at all,they give me 2 ultram and tell me to go home and sleep.The few docs who do treat me give me iv fluids,for the pail they give me diiaudid and iv phenergan for the nausea.The pail is so intense it sometimestakes 2 shots of dilaudid to work.I am at my wits end,i.ve seen so many neuros,tried so many migraine meds,antidepressants,pretty much exhausted every option.I have seen several docs and they all seem to play the same recording.They all say narcotics are not the answer but what du you do when they are the only meds that work?I live in the MB area of S.C.knows a pain doc who aint afraid to do narcotic long term treatment for headaches,please tell me.(Please Help Me)

It could be just me but Green Tea does wonders in getting rid of headaches.Headaches usually happen when your stressed out, from reading your question I have a feeling your life is very stressful (then again we all in a pile of stress) but sometimes there's just to much stress then we can handle resulting in a headache....With all of this in mind, You need to make a lifestyle change Perhaps your job is to stressful We all need balance between relaxtion and stress.-Take a walk 30 Minutes a day (Or more, the more the better)-Eat Healthy foods-Fit some laughter in your day-Drink Green Tea- Look into meditation, not hocus pocus, meditation works find a quiet place even at the park close your eyes for a couple seconds and take a deep breath you can even do this in your car (park towards the back where its more quiet)Before you see a doc I advise you try to fit in all my advice into your everyday scheadule, I hope this helps you out- Good Luck.

narcotics are a rough way to go for headaches.it may be a good idea for you to see a chiropractor, especially if you have ever (even a long, long time ago) been in any type of accident.
