I had my wisdom teeth taken out and this is the pain medicine i'm taking. It makes me feel floaty like i'm flying. Is this what it did to you??What's your story and how long did it last?

If you have been prescribed Demerol and you take it on a regular basis for pain (or even more than once), you are putting your body at risk for seizures. Demerol has now been found to cause seizures in patients who have had repeated doses. I only answer this because I just found that out in my Pharmacology class and remembered having a few doses myself during labor. Check with another doctor if that kind of pain medication is best for you. As far as the floaty feeling, yes that's perfectly normal.Good Luck!
