I watched a documentary about him last night.

He was not a one time user who "experimented" as he made it seem. He was a recreational drug user for years. He started using drugs in High School (his Grandma - the one that he threw under the bus - was a banker) and went on to use throughout college. He lived with a gay, Pakistani drug dealer on 109Th Street in NYC. It was only when he went to Chicago that he apparently stopped using drugs.

I am aware that Democrats tried to make a massive deal about Bush's drinking and alleged coke use. I am equally aware that they are VERY mute on Obama's long term use of the same drug.

Absolutely correct. See the Republicans go based on facts and the Liberals go based on bashing and turning the other cheek. Obama not only wrote about his drug escapades he has openly talked about them too. Yet, our lovely Liberal Media will spin it to look pretty to the public. All you have to do is listen if you want to know about Obama's skeleton ridden past- it is packed full and getting even fuller everyday.
