ive had a couple abscess teeth and i need a root canal on this one but im broke..so anyways i been takin ibuprofin (3) and penicillin i found from my last abscess tooth..while im waiting for that to kick in and take this pain away...i have cough syrup with codeine in it and im wondering if it would even do anything..

I would not take it with other pain medication, codeine can be addicting, but it should work for a night or two to get you through the rough spots
