Codeine is sold over the counter in most countries except USA. I don't think it's a very good drug though. A lot of people have side effects from it. It may work effectively for pain, but can cause you to be very drowsy and disoriented. Ibuprofen can be substituted for pain relief and antiinflamatory. Codeine use to be used a lot for cough; and although it does help to suppress a cough, it's not good to use when you want the cough to bring something up, i.e., bronchitis, asthma or COPD.I'm sorry, I just read that you have 42 DDD's. I don't know what that is.
