why is this?because you are taking more than the recommended dose per day. This is just like any other drug. If you overdose you are going to feel high..what problems could my addiction have.Death for one. It's never good to overdose on drugs especially those that you are taking. When you overdose in high amounts like that you have a huge risk of health problems and even possibly death. It's never good to overdose on anything. If you are taking more than the recommended dosage a day then yes you are overdosing. Overdosing can cause serious problems and with these drugs it could easily weaken your immune system for when you take other drugs to get rid of any kind of illness. I say seek professional help right way. Hopefully they can help you and tell you what to do to get rid of this addiction.

Don't sit around waiting for your liver to rot..Try to get off of them before they cause you a stroke....

You can cause yourself some serious harm. You can go in to renal failure with no warning at all. That means that your kidneys can shut down and you will become dangerously sometimes mortally ill.Besides that you are damaging you liver and your stomach lining will be wearing away. You can cause damage to your esophagus and your heart, not to mention that it ages you awfully quickly.I understand addiction, I am a recovering pain drug addict myself. I have been free from addiction for 10ys now, although i have a chronic illness that requires me to take pain pills. I tell you this just so I don't sound like a hypocrite!!You didn't mention if you got started with this addiction because of physical pain or emotional or you just like to be high, but I can tell you that it will be a short lived experience if you don't get some help.I myself never thought that their was help for me, until I decided to just give it a try. Not only did I learn to end the addiction, I found out"how to live"something I just didn't feel like I knew how to do.If I can help you in anyway, you can feel free to email me, if not then I wish you all of the luck in the world and hope that you can remain healthy though-out.

Codeine is a narcotic and is very addictive. There are many people with this same addiction. This is serious for you, because this will destroy your liver. Without a good functioning, healthy liver, you will die. Also, your brain cells will be altered and actually die in certain areas of your brain. You will eventually have trouble regulating your emotions and being able to determine which behaviors are safe or unsafe. Your relationships with people you care about will suffer, and many people you love and care about will walk out of your life, because they can't stand the person you have become. You may end up losing your job, because you don't function well anymore at work and everyone sees it. Finally, this small dose soon will not be enough for your body. It will crave more and more. You will then turn to illegal sources of the drug and spend all your money (and time) searching for it and buying it. You will then get arrested and have a record. Please talk with your doctor before these terrible things happen and ruin your life. They can help you get off and stay away from these drugs and help you get counseling, join a support group, etc. You have already taken the first step by realizing that you are addicted and asking for answers.
