..Anything is possible, but this is not only unlikely, but it can also be dangerous..Of course it also depends how long one has been using and what issues they have accumulated before and during this time as it can be very overwhelming to face a reality one has not experienced sober in quite some time..It can be, for many people, a very traumatic time, and support is so important during this time, to say nothing of the physical withdrawal that can be life threatening because of the stress we have put on our hearts and brains alone..I would, and still do, suggest to anyone wanting to stop drugs or alcohol, they really think about going into a rehab for an extended amount of time, if for no other reason then to be physically monitored..Now, the other side of this is, if one has the support of at least one friend, and preferably one who has already been through this and who can and will remain with the person until at least the worst is over, and they also have close contact with either a nurse or a doctor, and they are nearby or within minutes of a hospital, and that one especially and also realizes and knows what could happen and takes the necessary precautions, then they may be able to come through this without a detox or rehab assistance..A cocaine addiction is very dangerous in so many ways, both using and quitting, so one should always value their life enough to take any and all the positive healthy steps and precautions that would assist them in achieving their sobriety..With absolutely no intervention I personally believe, and have also seen for myself, that ones recovery would be/is, highly unlikely, but nothing is impossible either and much careful thought is definitely required during this time...It is always positive and uplifting when we have someone who has already come through this, knows all the facts concerning this, and has been clean for awhile, 2 years at least, supporting us...Take much care...
