ok so i went to my doctor told him that thru out the day i just can't calm down im allways in this panicyish mode, and i get a lot of panic attacks.so he prescribed me ATIVAN 0.5 mg he said i can take one if i get a panic attack.i've never tried anxiety relief medication and any other medications.I dont want to get addicted!!!!!! i'm only 15should i just try and wait the panic attacks out and not take the drug? because i REALLY do not want to get addictedi'm only 15ugh panic attack now..my hearts beating sooo super fast.WILL I GET ADDICTED TO ATIVAN?

you can speak with your school nurse about it, or with your regular nurse or dr.You are not ok to take anything someone just tells you or gives you, as it can be very dangerous.You need advice from dr. or nurse.

you are on only 1/2 a mg of ativanit helps you to relax use it as prescribedit is not addicting ive used it

anxiety can be very debilitating. I believe you are fine on that low of a dose. I personally wouldn't worry, but a second opinion never hurts if you are concerned.

OK. I have been there before. A panic attack is one of the most overwhelming feelings you could ever have. If you are worried about addiction, really start to think which is more important- curing an attck or very unlikely getting atticted to the meds? I think you will get addicted. First of all you are worried about it and that is what most addicts dont even care about. Contact me if you need anything. I will talk to you about pink sheep if ya want! I dont care.
