My 24 yr. old is refusing medical treatment. He needs to go to a rehab facility for alcohol abuse, but he needs some medical tests done first. Is there any way to force him?

Yes in KOKOMO a friend of mine mom had him Baker acted but you have to go thru a judge and prove that he is a danger to him self as well as others. My friend was drinking a half gallon of whiskey a day and his house got condemned so his mother got her a attorney and they both went in front of a judge and got it done so yes it is possible but a lot of red tape. The best thing is to contact a attorney and try the Logansport state hospital that's where my friends mom sent him and it really did him a lot of good he doesn't drink any more. I hope this helps you because I have lost a couple of dear friends that didn't get help and now they are gone please don't let this happen to your loved one.
