i have thought about doing this myself and then I have to remind myself that if I stopped taking my meds I would be in pain again. However, I have heard that Suboxone is really great for getting off of pain meds. It blocks your ability to get any effects from opiate pain meds and makes the withdrawl symtoms a lot easier.
